# Channels overview


## The channels

- **Web** — `/chat`. Best for long sessions, voice, complex tasks.
- **WhatsApp** — best for India + voice notes + on-the-go.
- **Telegram** — best for groups, media, cleaner Bot API.
- **Discord** — best for servers, communities, bot-friendly UX.
- **Voice** — real-time conversation + outbound phone calls.

What you tell Niyra on WhatsApp, she knows on web. Setting preferences once works everywhere.

## Restrictions

You can scope per-channel:

- "WhatsApp Niyra only uses Gmail + Calendar."
- "Discord Niyra doesn't have access to Finance."

Set from Settings → Channels → [channel] → Scopes.
