# Slack setup


## Steps

1. Settings → Connections → Slack → Connect.
2. Pick the Slack workspace.
3. Approve scopes — read messages, post messages, list channels.
4. Optional: invite `@niyra` to a private channel where you want her active.

## What Niyra can now do

- Summarize a channel you missed.
- Post structured updates ("end-of-day shipping summary into #shipping").
- Reply to DMs while you're in deep work — drafts only, you approve.
- Search across messages.
