How long does Niyra keep my data?

Active accounts: indefinite until you ask us to delete. Conversations, memories, records, and OAuth tokens persist as long as your account is active. Closed accounts: we remove your data within 30 days of the request. Encrypted off-site backups are kept on a rolling schedule and the last copies roll off within 12 months.

Can I export everything?

Yes, on request. Email privacy@niyra.ai and we'll send your conversations, memories, records, and uploaded files, with a 30-day response window. A self-serve export button in Settings is on the roadmap; today it's a request we fulfil by hand.

What does Niyra share with LLM providers?

Only what's needed to answer your message: conversation history (truncated to fit context window), tool definitions, current message. Anthropic and OpenAI are bound by their standard API terms, which do not train on API traffic. We're on standard API tiers today — a zero-retention agreement is on the roadmap, not signed.

Do you sell my data?

No. We're a paid SaaS; the revenue model is subscription, not data resale.

How does memory work, exactly?

When you tell Niyra something worth remembering (a preference, a person, a date), she extracts a structured memory and saves it to pgvector. Memories are scoped to your user ID and retrieved by semantic search when relevant. You can see, edit, or delete every memory from the Memories panel.

GDPR / CCPA?

We honor data subject requests under both. Email privacy@niyra.ai for access, correction, or erasure requests. Response within 30 days.

HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001?

Not certified yet. Roadmap: SOC 2 Type I within 6 months of public launch. HIPAA in scope if there's enterprise demand; today, don't use Niyra for protected health information.
