Concept
MCP server (Model Context Protocol)
Standardized way for AI agents to discover and call external tools. Anthropic-led spec.
MCP is a protocol that lets AI agents discover tools and call them — like USB for AI. Anyone can write an MCP server (a small process or HTTP endpoint) exposing tools. Niyra (and Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) can use them.
Niyra supports both HTTP and subprocess MCP servers with OAuth flow.
