Two different things you might want
Wipe your assistant, keep the account. Settings → Reset Assistant clears every memory, conversation, and uploaded file straight away. Individual memories can be removed one at a time from the Memories panel. This is instant and self-serve.
Close the account entirely. Email privacy@niyra.ai. There is no one-click account deletion in Settings yet; it is on the roadmap, and today we action the request by hand. Within 30 days of confirmation:
- Conversations: every message across every channel, purged.
- Memories: vector + structured memories wiped.
- Records: vehicles, policies, subscriptions, holdings, documents removed.
- Attachments: images, PDFs, voice files purged.
- OAuth tokens: revoked at every connected provider and overwritten locally.
- BYOK keys: overwritten with zeroes (cryptographically unrecoverable).
- User row in DB: removed.
- Backups: roll off on the schedule in
/docs/data-retention(rolling daily, weekly and monthly copies, with the last rolling off within 12 months).
Before you delete
Ask for an export first (/docs/data-export). Most people want a personal archive. What we send you is yours to keep; deletion only affects what's on Niyra's side.
Edge cases
- Active subscription: cancel first via Settings → Billing, then delete. Otherwise the deletion request pauses until the billing period ends.
- Pending refund: your refund completes before account closure. If owed money, expect 5-10 business days.
- Channel subscriptions: WhatsApp/Telegram/Discord bot connections are removed; the bot stops responding to you immediately.
How to confirm
We reply to your request within 48 hours to confirm the timeline, and send a final wipe-completed email when it's done.
